My Best Friends in the Whole World are my Sisters!

I have the best sisters ever!!! I love them so much and I am sooo grateful that I was able to spend the summer (well most of it) with them! :) one thing I definitely don't like about school is being so far away from my best friends!! here are some memories that I could never have with anyone else!!

remember how we were sitting in the golf cart and she wasn't even supposed to be taking pictures but she took one of the best pics of us??

or when we tried to cartwheel down this rain road track?

What about when we were in This is Kirtland together and we all about killed each other trying to get hair and makeup done?

How about when we found out if you take a picture through the lens of the 3D glasses it makes one side super dark??? ("I wouldda just taken the money and ran!!")

This is just one of my favorite pics! :)

Oh how about our trip to San Antonia where we had to make sure to switch sides in every picture just to make sure each person was by themselves at least once???

Playing dress up???

Christmas jammies?

HAHAH how about that one time where we all decided that we could fit into daddy's jeans????

or when we got jammies for valentines day from padre and we decided to do a bunch of poses for mommy to take pictures of us?!

Oh ok you have to remember the giant lolly pops we got when we moved to Ohio (you know the ones we licked for the picture and then never ate again hahaha)

how about that one time when we were in the airport and we were laughing so hard that we were crying?? (I'm pretty sure that lady thought we were drunk!! hahaha)

I have the best sisters ever!! I am going to miss you guys so much! you help me to Love Life!! I do stupid things with you guys that I probs wouldn't do with other people! I can sit down and listen to music and do nothing and still have a blast with you! I am so sad to be leaving you but thank you for spending a bunch of time with me this summer! You guys are my best friends and I can't imagine life without you!!

Summer Adventures

You know it really is amazing to me that changes that can happen in just a couple months. My life has changed drastically in the past few months and I have too. It is so funny that life can be totally ok and the next thing you know it has turned upside down. The best part is the blessing of knowing that Heavenly Father has a wonderful plan for me and there is something better ahead for me. even if I don't know what it is, I have something better coming :)

LOTS has happened since I have been home for the summer. (in no particular order haha)

I got a Job at good old Chick-fil-A in which i work my butt off for not enough money. I can now say that I have worked in fast food and I don't plan on doing it again anytime soon. I really enjoy the people I work with it is just the job itself is not necessarily the best. I am super grateful that I was able to find a summer job though.

I met and became good friends with a new convert Alyssa Lodge. (and along with Alyssa we met Tanner Misustin who used to be a missionary here in Texas)

As a family my Grandpa and Grandma G came to visit for a couple of days and we went to the Fort Worth Stock Yards.

We also to Gpa and Gma to Babe's for dinner. I had never been there and it was pretty good but they LOVED it. I think i would have liked it more if it hadn't have been just chicken since that is like all I eat haha.

I started going to the Singles Ward and I have met a ton of new people and made some great friends. For some reason I keep meeting people in my ward that know other people I know outside of Texas and it is really really funny. I had originally decided that I was not going to attend the singles ward but I am glad that I am because there are so many wonderful people and I have fun with them.

I went to my first Ranger's game with my mom and sisters. We were at the very top of the stadium but i don't mind because thats the best place to watch the game from! you can see everything from where you are and you can still enjoy the atmosphere of the game. It was a smear the quire game but other then that It was way fun! Plus we got to see fireworks after :)

On July 3rd we went to Roanoke and watched fireworks with the Warren's. We sat around for a while just goofing off and took quite a few pictures. we also started singing really loud which I am pretty sure annoyed all the other people there haha but It was really fun!

Brielle wanted to take a picture where she looked high hahahahahahahaha

I went and say Bro. Lewis to have my teeth cleaned! sadly I had to go back a couple weeks later to get a cavity filled :/ but it was good to see him either way. On the up side when i had to go back for the filling we got to go to lunch with Sis Lewis and the new baby!!! :) It was fun and so good to see her again!

Uncle Scott and Aunt Jenn came to Dallas for a work that and so we got to go to dinner with them one night. We went to this fish place that Aunt Jenn likes called Papadeaux. I think if i liked fish more it would have been better but it was so nice to see them and it was fun! They made me try calamari, crayfish, and ship...oh and they also made me try some Alligator. It seriously tasted like chicken! It was weird haha but now i can say that I have eaten it.

One of the greatest things I think of this summer was the fact that I am being sued. Yup you read that right, I am 19 years old and I am being sued. The lawsuit is for the car accident I was in two years ago and she is claiming injury. For one, why would she wait two years to make this claim cause I just think that is stupid. And second, what could I possibly have to offer?! I mean I know that it is through the insurance and all but still I am 19 and I have got diddly squat! haha

I also had the privilege of going and listening to Stephanie Nielson speak. Stephanie is a member who was in a near-fatal plane crash where over 80% of her body was badly burned. She is a blogger and a huge inspiration to everyone whom she comes in contact with. Just in the little while that I was able to see her at this fireside I was able to see the light of Christ in her eyes. She is a beautiful incredibly daughter of God and she has so much confidence and love it amazes me. It was definitely a blessing for me to be able to listen to her and see the amazing strength she has.

For my mom's birthday, Kendyll, Brielle, and I decided to do something special for her. We recorded ourselves singing the song A Thousand Years by Christina Perry because I know that she loves that song and then we made a slide show for her. It made her cry and she loved it. I love her with all my heart and I hope that she knows that we made this video just for her!!

That is pretty much my summer in a nutshell haha I have LOVED spending so much time with my family and getting to meet to new people. It is a blessing for me to be able to be home for the summer. I am so grateful for the loving family I have and for the opportunity that my family had to move to texas. I know that there are many many reasons why i needed to go with my family to Texas and I am sure that there are many more. I know that even when something seems like the hardest thing you have to do, it can turn out to be one of the best things you will ever do. Even if i had moved out here and made only one friend or helped only one person it would have been worth it to me. I Love my family, my friends, and the gospel. I am grateful for Heavenly Father's presence and guidance in my life, without which i would be lost. I cannot wait to see what He has in store for the rest of my life :)

Home is Where the Heart Is!!

Winter Break!! It was supposed to be the first time i went home but i got a surprise and got to go home for thanksgiving :) I can't believe i was only home for about 4 months in 2011 not that Texas feels like home but it is where my family is! The Sunday after I got to Texas my family left and drove 5 hours to San Antonio to have a "family vacation" since, according to my dad, we haven't done anything as a family in a while. (I honestly don't know how going to Ohio for graduation and two trips to Utah doesn't count as doing something as a family haha) Anyway so the first day we were there we went to the Alamo. Honestly I do not recommend going. sure its one of those places everyone says you should go because of the historical value but honestly...it is the most boring historical place I have ever been!! We were bored....so what did we do? We sat around and took random pictures :D If you don't know me or my family this is something we do rather often at our house!

One funny thing that did happen at the Alamo is that we were walking around looking at old stuff and there was this room with a video in it. My dad started to walk in and Brielle grabs his arm and says: "Daddy that is fifteen minutes OF OUR LIIIVVVEEESSSS!" We all started laughing so hard! The guy that was walking in right behind my dad started laughing as well and just walked away and decided not to go in either! It was hilarious!

After we went to the Alamo, we went to the San Antonio River-walk. The River-walk is this river that runs through the middle of San Antonio that has a little walk way next to it and you would never guess you were in the middle of the city! It is beautiful and an awesome escape. Once again though when all there is to do is to look around...we are taking pictures :)

So we found this cool red tunnel. Kendyll asked to have her picture taken in it and then I decided I did to and I wanted to be jumping! so then we all decided to take jumping pictures :)

My dad felt left out so he decided he wanted to do one too....I think he looks like he is being shot though! haha

Brielle..The tree hugger!

One small step for a man, one GIANT leap for Kendyll!

The next day was the day that I was so excited for....SEAWORLD!!! I was so excited!

So right after we walked in we decided to go over to the dolphin area because i was the closest! when we got there we say tat we could feed dolphins!! I GOT TO FEED DOLPHINS!!! I was so excited and I still think it was so cool! We were super lucky too because they closed it right after we were done! I think that was my favorite part of the day!!

After we fed the dolphins :D we went to the shark/fish place. Then we got to see Shamu!

Look its Baby Shamu!!!!

SeaWorld was way fun!

The day after that we went to six flags. I am not a big roller coaster person but it was fun! (mostly cause I was with my family.

I decided to brave the Ferris wheel....It wasn't a great Idea. I sat like this the whole time. WAY to high for me!

So then we went home and just hung out until Christmas. Christmas was so much fun! We went over to the Warren's house for Christmas eve and had dinner and did the Nativity there. We also got to open our one present...P.J.s! When we got home we took a picture in front of the tree and then went to bed super early! no joke like 8:30!!!

Kendyll gave Brielle and I Nerf guns for Christmas :D we shot her with them the whole time and she didn't have anything to fight back with hahaha!

I got Kendyll and Brielle Both BYU hats for Christmas and they loved them! and of course they couldn't just take a normal picture haha that is my family for ya!

I got my dad this book called Daddy loves his little girl...He LOVED it!

So New Years Eve my sisters both went to a church dance and my parents were planning on going to six flags with some other couples in the ward which left me alone. My parents decided just to take me with them to six flags so I got to spend new years with a bunch of couples from our ward. That was my trip and it was so wonderful to be with my family and spend some quality time with them! I love them with all my heart and can't imagine life with out them!!!
